Participatory design workshops with care workers and care home residents

We organized a series of workshops on the topics of admission to the care home, robots, conversational AI, computer vision, and participatory design. These workshops were held at two care homes. Across three different groups, 13 care workers and 12 residents participated. We wanted to learn more about how technologies could support participants in their life. By giving workshops about technology components, we aimed to enable participants to reflect with us about potential use cases for the technologies we introduced.  

Based on the workshop series, we identified documentation support as an important use case, which we are currently exploring further. The design of the workshop series is described in a publication that will be published soon.
